Software Evolution-AOSD

Aspect-oriented software development (AOSD) is gaining momentum as it receives increasing attention not only from academia but also from industry. While there are many problems of interest to researchers, some properties of AOSD technology are attractive to software developers and practitioners as well. From a mobile operator’s point of view, we give an overview of some challenges in building next-generation mobile communications systems and show how software development for such systems can benefit from the use of AOSD.
